A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO
VACATE A PORTION OF CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO 900
SROUFE.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The 20 feet strip of land that separates Lots,
1,2,3,4,5, and 6 from Lots 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, Block 7 Sweany's 2nd
Addition to Sidney as per Plat Recorded in Vol. 2 page 18, of Kitsap
County.
WHEREAS, the Petitioners have submitted a petition to vacate a portion of City
right-of-way adjacent to 900 Sroufe Street; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioners constitute one hundred percent of the owners of the
property abutting the area proposed for vacation; and
WHEREAS, the property sought to be vacated is approximately 3,000 square
feet; and
WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that proceedings be had hereon for the
Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79; now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: A Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of City
right-of-way adjacent to 900 Sroufe Street, as submitted by
Presentacion and James Hall, further described as follows, is
hereby fixed for Monday, April 11, 2005, in the City Council
Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard,
Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of March 2005.
