A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
ESTABLISHING A SALARY STEP SCHEDULE FOR THE POLICE
SERGEANT POSmON.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to create a salary step schedule for the
position of police sergeant; and
WHEREAS, the salary step schedule as set forth below has been negotiated with
the police sergeant's bargaining unit and is respectfully submitted; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: Effective March 5, 2006 the following salary step schedule is provided
for the position of Police Sergeant. Entry on the salary step schedule is subject
to experience level.
After 36 mos. from date of hire
After 24 mos. from date of hire/promo
After 12 mos. from date of hire/promo

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the
Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13th day of March,
2006.
