A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON RENAMING AND
DESIGNATING THE CITY STREET KNOWN AS BANK
STREET TO ROBERT G E!GER STREET
WHEREAS, Council Member Robert Geiger has unselfishly devoted many hours
of service to the citizens of Port Orchard; and
WHEREAS, as a result of his leadership and governmental skills, the City of
Port Orchard paved almost every street in the City, constructed new arterial streets, replaced
sidewalks, paved alleys, constmcted stormwater system, and solved serious transportation
issues all without any additional costs to the Port Orchard citizen; and
WHEREAS, the Ci.ty Council wishes to honor Council Member Robert Geiger's
45 years of continual commitment is a very special dedication, now therefore
THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVE:
THAT: the City street known as Bank Street will be hereinafter renamed and
designated as Robert Geiger Street.
