A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO CLEAN OUT SEPTIC TANKS IN
MCCORMICK WOODS
WHEREAS, the City called for proposals under the small works roster inviting
Bids on cleaning out septic tanks in McCormick Woods; and
WHEREAS, three proposals were received; and
WHEREAS, City staff has determined that all three proposals were responsive;
Now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING:
THAT: The contract for cleaning septic tanks in McCormick Woods is awarded to
the low bidder, Hemley's Septic Tank Cleaning, Inc., for the amount of $189.90 per tank,
making the total amount of the award for cleaning 118 tanks $22,408.20.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12'h day of February 2008.
