A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE FOLLOWING MEMBER
TO THE PORT ORCHARD CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.30 of the Port Orchard Municipal Code establishes a Civil
Service Commission; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to POMC 2.30.020 the members of the Civil Service
Commission are to be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Fred Olin resigned from his position on the Civil Service Commission
upon being elected to the City Council leaving the remainder of his term vacant; and
WHEREAS, the vacant position was duly advertised and applications were
received and reviewed; now therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the
appointment of Rick Wyatt to the Port Orchard Civil Service Commission effective
March 1, 2008, with his term ending December 31, 2012.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage on the 26th day of February 2008.
