A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXPEND FUNDS FOR THE
MCCORMICK WOODS ANNEXATION PETITION DRIVE MEETING OF
OCTOBER 15, 2008
WHEREAS, at its September 16, 2008, Work Study Session, the Council directed
staff to work with the McCormick Woods Annexation Committee to begin the petition process
for annexation; and
WHEREAS, the McCormick Woods' residents have requested the City host the
annexation petition drive on October 15, 2008, at the McCormick Woods' Clubhouse; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined the room rental of the Clubhouse to be $450
and coffee to be $100 plus tax; and
WHEREAS, the Council has concurred that the City will pay for the Clubhouse
room rental and coffee; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City rent the McCormick Woods' Clubhouse on October 15, 2008,
for the purpose of an Annexation Petition Drive in an amount not to
exceed $600.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 23rd day of ~Btember 2008.
