COUNCIL SHORT-TERM GOALS
Bethel Corridor Plan - Update Road Design
Bay Street Pedestrian Pathway
Continue with phased approach - If smaller projects can be done, we need to do them to keep the
project moving forward.
Black Jack Creek – Continue with process for securing easements and securing State permits.
Joint Waterfront Planning with the Port of Bremerton
The Council needs to spend half an hour at Work Study Sessions to talk about the vision.
An Ad Hoc Committee needs to be created with Councilmember’s, Port Commissioners, and staff
to discuss a joint vision of the waterfront.
The Port of Bremerton needs to be asked how they envision staffing this committee. Mayor Pro -
Tem Childs will contact the Port.
There needs to be monthly updates on this during the Work Study Sessions.
Sidewalks and street improvement
Need to look at this during the budget process, and then have Public Works Director present a
plan on what can be done with the funds.

Need to create a sewer/water/storm plan for development
Develop master plan for design and location of informational signage in City
Work with community service groups
