RESOLUTION NO. 014-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN CONTRACT WITH KITSAP ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE
WHEREAS, annually the City works in conjunction with the Kitsap Economic
Development Alliance (KEDA) to promote diversification in the County's job base; and
WHEREAS, annually, the City and KEDA enter into a one-year contract for
services promoting job diversification and education in Kitsap County; and
WHEREAS, the City has budgeted $2,ooo for program; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The Mayor is authorized to sign a one-year contract
ending on December 31, 2009, with Kitsap Economic
Development Alliance in the amount of $2,000.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of February 2009.
