A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, DELEGATING TO THE CITY CLERIC
AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE CERTAIN RENTAL AGREEMENTS
SUBJECT TO CITY COUNCIL RATIFICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is the owner of real property located at 213
and 215 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, which contains 2 rental units in each building;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35.23-440, the City Council has authority to lease
City owned property; and
WHEREAS, in order to promote an efficient and effective process for
administering the rental units at 213 and 215 Prospect Street, the City Council has
chosen to delegate to the City Clerk the authority to execute rental agreements for 213
and 215 Prospect Street provided the agreements are brought back to the City Council
for ratification at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting; now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Clerk is authorized to execute rental agreements
on behalf of the City of Port Orchard for the property located at 213
and 215 Prospect Street, Port Orchard provided such agreements
are ratified by the City Council at the next regularly scheduled City
Council meeting immediately following the date of execution.
