A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE N.L. OLSON &
ASSOCIATES, INC. CONTRACT FOR THE TREMONT
MEDICAL COMPLEX TURN LANE TRAFFIC
ENGINEERING DESIGN & SURVEYING SERVICES,
BEING A 6-MONTH CONTRACT EXTENSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard authorized the Mayor to sign a contract
with N.L. Olson & Associates, Inc. on December 30, 2008 in the amount not to exceed
$5,700.00 for professional engineering and surveying services for the Tremont Street
Interim Channelization Improvements associated with the Tremont Medical Complex;
and
WHEREAS, the initial contract completion date of March 15, 2009 does not
provide for the best weather window in which to complete the construction staking for
the pavement restriping; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute Change Order
No. 1 (Exhibit A) for the Tremont Medical Complex Turn Lane, thereby
granting a 6-month contract extension to September 15, 2009.
PASSED by the City Council of the City ofPott Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of arch 2009.
