RESOLUTION NO. 023-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON ADOPTING THE 2009 CAPITAL FACILITIES
PLAN FOR THE SOUTH KITSAP WATER RECLAMATION
FACILITY
WHEREAS, the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility is jointly owned and
operated by the City of Port Orchard and West Sound Utility District; and
WHEREAS, both the City of Port Orchard and West Sound Utility District have
reviewed and approved the 2009 Capital Facilities Plan which identifies capital improvements
for the Wastewater Treatment Facility; and
WHEREAS, at the Februaty 18, 2009 meeting, the Sewer Advisory Committee has
recommended that both the City of Port Orchard and West Sound Utility District adopt the
2009 Capital Facilities Plan; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 2009, West Sound Utility District adopted Resolution 108-
09, approving the 2009 Capital Facilities Plan for the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility;
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING:
THAT: The 2009 Capital Facilities Plan for the South Kitsap Water
Reclamation Facility is hereby approved.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of Ma~ 009.
