RESOLUTION NO. 067-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY FOR THE UPDATE TO
THE SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is required to update the shoreline
management plan pursuant to the Washington Shoreline Management Act and RCW
90.58; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology has offered a grant to the City of Port
Orchard in the amount of $125,000 during 2009-2012 for the update to the shoreline
management plan; now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute a grant from
the Washington State Department of Ecology for the update to the
Shoreline Management Plan.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of July 2009.
