A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
WITH CASECO ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR 2009
STORMWATER POND MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, on August 10, 2009, the City of Port Orchard requested bids
from three companies for 2009 Stormwater Pond Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, on August 17, 2009, the City received two bids for 2009
Storm water Pond Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, Caseco Associates, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder in
the amount of $33,700 for the Harrison Healthcare Campus pond; and
WHEREAS, the approved 2009 Budget allocated $38,000 for
Storm water Pond Maintenance within the Storm Drainage Utility; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute
the Contract with Caseco Associates, Inc. for 2009
Stormwater Pond Maintenance, in an amount not to exceed
$37,000.
