A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 2 FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES
WITH ABM JANITORIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2007, the City contracted with ABM Janitorial
Services for janitor service for City Hall, Library, Active Club building and Public Works
Shop; and
WHEREAS, On September 24, 2008, the City agreed to extend the contract
with ABM Janitorial for one year-November 1, 2008 to October 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, at the October 13, 2009, meeting, the Council directed staff to work
with ABM Janitorial Services to extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2009;
and
WHEREAS, ABM Janitorial Services agrees to extend the current contract
expiration date to December 31, 2009, at no change in costs; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The Council authorizes the Mayor to execute Contract
Amendment No. 2 extending the contract expiration date to
December 31, 2009, for janitorial services with ABM Janitorial
Services.
PASS ED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 27th d of October 2009.
