A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
APPROVING THE PlANNING DEPARTMENT'S ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT POSITION REMAIN FULL-TIME THOUGH 2011
WHEREAS, It is necessary for the city to p eriodically r eview the duties and
r espons ibilities of all employment positions; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Dep artment's Administrative Ass ist a nt position has
historically been funded as a p a1t time position; with City Council's approval this position
was cha ng ed to full time only through the remainder of 2010; and
WHEREAS, Continuing the Pla nning Depa1tment's Admi n istrative Assistant
po sition as full time through the 2011 fi scal year will significantly continue t o benefit and
max imize the efficiency within the Pl anning Depmtme nt; now the refor e,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The Planning Depa1tment's Administrative Assistant position will
remain full-tim e with salary and benefits t hrough the 2011 fiscal year.
