RESOLUTION NO. 048-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CONFIRMING MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION, THE LIBRARY BOARD, THE ANIMAL CONTROL
APPEAL BOARD, DESIGN REVIEW BOARD, AND THE BUILDING
BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, annually, the city clerk duly advertises the qualifications and duties
of each expiring term on the various boards, committees, and commissions in the Port
Orchard Independent and on the city’s website; and
WHEREAS, the mayor is authorized to appoint volunteers to fill vacant terms
on the various boards, committees, and commissions, upon confirmation of the city
council; and
WHERAS, the following boards, committees, and commissions have expiring
terms as of December 31, 2011: the Planning Commission, the Library Board, Animal
Control Appeal Board, the Design Review Board, and the Building Board of Appeals;
now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the appointment of Robert Baglio to fill an unexpired term
ending December 31, 2015; re-appointment of Tim Drury for four-year
term ending December 31, 2015; and Oliver Hanley for a four-year term
ending December 31, 2015, to the Planning Commission; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the re-appointment of Paul Drzewiecki for a term ending
December 31, 2016, to the Library Board; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the re-appointments of Rick Wyatt and Lorraine Olsen for three-
year terms ending December 31, 2014; and Nancy Isbell for a three-year

term ending December 31, 2014, to the Animal Control Appeal Board ;
and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Pmt Orchard does h ereby confirm
the appointment of Shannon Childs for a three-year term ending
December 31, 2015, to the Design Revi ew Board; and
FURTHER THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does
hereby reconfirm the reappointment of Barry Berezowsky to Position No.
1, for a five-year term ending December 31, 2016, and Danny Gelder to
fill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2014, to the Building Board
of Appeals.
