A RESOLUI'ION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON CONFIRMING MAYORAL APPOINTMENT TO
THE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, at its December 13, 2011, meeting, the Coun cil directed the City
Attorn ey t o verify an applicant's residency as it related to a seat on the Planning
Commi ssion; and
WHEREAS, follovving the December 13, 2011, meeting; the applicant withdrew
hi s application for appointment to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor h as selected a nother candidate who is a resident of the
City t o serve on the Pl anning Commission; and
WHEREAS , the Mayo r is authorized t o appoint vo lunteers to fill vacant terms
on the va ri ous boards, committees, and co mmissions, upon co nfirmation of the City
co uncil; n ow, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does h ereby
confirm the a ppointment of Dolores Coppola for a four-yea r term
b eg inning January 1, 2012 and endin g Decemb er 31, 2015, t o the
Planning Commission; and
