A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, REPEALING RESOLliTION NO 1983, ANDRE-
ESTABLISHING A BUSINESS LICENSE FEE AND A BUSINESS
LICENSE RENEWAL FEE
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has established regulations requiring all
businesses and/ or persons doing business within the Port Orchard city limits to obtain a
city business license, and
WHEREAS, Port Orchard Municipal Code Chapter 5.12 provides the
establishment of fees for the issuance and/ or renewal of city business licenses shall be
by council resolution, now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 1983 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2: Business License Fee: Effective for new business licenses
issued from April1, 2011 and each year thereafter as set forth in Port Orchard
Municipal Code 5.12 .080 (2), the license fee shall be thirty five dollars
($35.00) per year and such fee shall be paid prior to issuance of the license.
SECTION 3: Business License Renewal Fee: Effective for all business license
renewals issued April 1, 2011 and each year thereafter as set forth in Port
Orchard Municipal Code 5.12.090 (2), the annual business license renewal fee
shall be thirty five dollars ($35.00) per year and such fee shall be paid prior to
issuance of the license.
