031-12 - Resolution - Repealing Resolution 032-05 and Establishing Fees for Police DepartmentIntroduced by: Requested by: Drafted by: Police Chief Police Chief Police Chief Introduced: Adopted: October 9, 2012 October 9, 2012 RESOLUTION NO. 031-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE PORT ORCHARD POLICE DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 032-05 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1281 adopted by the Port Orchard City Council on October 25, 1982, the Port Orchard Police Department charges a fee for certain services, including fingerprinting, records checks, and copies of certain official reports; and WHEREAS, due to the increase cost relating to the services performed by the Port Orchard Police Department, it is necessary to establish a revised schedule of fees; now, therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: The following schedule of fees for services performed by the Port Orchard Police Department is hereby established effective January 1, 2013: Fingerprinting Per Person (city resident) Non-resident Police and Collision Reports to Insurance Companies Records Checks $10.00 $15.00 $10.00 $10.00 THAT: All such fees shall be paid to: City Treasurer, Port Orchard City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366. THAT: Resolution No. 032-05 enacted November 14, 2005 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
