RESOLUTION NO. 038-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CTIY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CONFIRMING MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION, THE LIBRARY BOARD, AND THE DESIGN REVIEW
BOARD.
WHEREAS, annually, the city clerk duly advertises the qualifications and duties
of each expiring term on the various boards, committees, and commissions in the Port
Orchard Independent and on the city's website; and
WHEREAS, the mayor is authorized to appoint volunteers to fill vacant terms
on the various boards, committees, and commissions, upon confirmation of the city
council; and
WHERAS, the following boards, committees, and commissions have expiring
terms as of December 31, 2012: the Planning Commission, the Library Board, and the
Design Review Board; now therefore,
THE CTIY COUNCIL OF THE CTIY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the re-appointment of Stephanie Bailey for a four-year term
ending December 31, 2016 to the Planning Commission; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the appointment of Mary Johnson for a four-year term ending
December 31, 2017; and Rebecca Guthrie to fill an unexpired term
ending December 31, 2014, to the Library Board; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm
the re-appointment of Bryan McKinnon and the appointment of Tadina
Crouch for a three-year term both ending December 31, 2015, to the
Design Review Board.
