A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, RECOGNIZING BUDGET AMMENDMENTS TO
THE SOUTH KITSAP WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY
2013 -14 BIENNIAL BUDGETS
WHEREAS, the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility (SKWRF) provides
wastewater treatment facilities for the City of Port Orchard and West Sound Utility
District with funding provided by the City and the District through an Equivalent
Residential Unit charge to each entity; and
WHEREAS, the 2013-14 biennial budget was prepared to cover a two-year
budget cycle with revenue and expenditures reviewed and approved by a Sewer Advisory
Committee comprised of three officials from each entity leading to adoption on
December 3, 2012 of SKWRF budgets for fiscal years 2013 and 2014; and
WHEREAS, it is proper for the Port Orchard City Council to recognize budget
adjustments that serve as a midcourse correction to the 2013 -14 SKWRF Budget
which was reviewed and approved by the Sewer Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, SKWRF administrative staff presented budget amendments to the
SKWFR 2014 budget year at the November 26, 2013 City Council meeting soliciting
comments and questions; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City of Port Orchard accepts the recommendation of the
Sewer Advisory Committee recognizing budget amendments to the South
Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility fiscal year 2014 biennial budget.
PASS ED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 10th day of December 2013 .
