RESOLUTION NO. 032-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CONFIRMING MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION, BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS, AND THE DESIGN
REVIEW ~OARD.
WHEREAS, annually, the City Clerk duly advertises the qualifications and
duties of each expiring term on the various boards, committees, and commissions in the
Port Orchard Independent and on the City's website; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized to appoint volunteers to fill vacant terms
on the various boards, committees, and commissions, upon confirmation of the City
Council; and
WHERAS, the following boards, committees, and commissions have expiring
terms as of December 31, 2013: the Planning Commission, Building Board of Appeals,
and the Design Review Board; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the re-appointment of Trish Tierney for a four-year term ending
December 31, 2017 to the Planning Commission; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
confirm the re-appointment of Matt Zawlocki for a five-year term
ending December 31, 2018; and Sean Hoynes to fill an unexpired term
ending December 31, 2017, to the Building Board of Appeals; and
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm
the re-appointment of David Fall for a three-year term ending December
31, 2016; and John Charles Purves for a three-year term ending
December 31, 2016, to the Design Review Board.
