WHEREAS, the Council adopts the six-year transportation improvement program annually for the following six-years; now, therefore; now, therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: The six-year construction portion of the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2015-2020, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and is an integral portion of the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for the City of Port Orchard is hereby adopted. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of June 2014. Lincoln Ave. Bethel Avenue West Bethel Road is currently two lanes wide it needs Bethel Avenue to be widened to four lanes with street lights, sidewalks, and stormwater system upgrades to Bay Street Bethel Avenue 2.4 Sidney Avenue (North of SR 16) Overlay Overlay Sidney Avenue and construct a shoulder. Sidney Avenue Lippert Drive SR 16 2.5 Pottery Avenue Widening Widen road to two travel lanes with sidewalks on Pottery Avenue both sides and stormwater system improvements. Tremont Street Melcher Street 2.6 Melcher Street Widening Melcher Street West is currently a narrow two-Melcher Street West lane road, the reconstruction would widen the road to allow two safe travel lanes. 2.7 Fireweed Road Widening Pottery Avenue Sherman Avenue Fireweed is a two lane road currently, it needs to Fireweed Road be widened to include shoulders and a Sidney Avenue stormwater system needs to be installed. 2.8 Sherman Avenue Widening Sherman Avenue is currently two travel lanes wide, but needs shoulders and a stormwater system. 2.9 Port Orchard Gateway Entry Phase II South Flower Avenue Sherman Avenue Fireweed Road Terminus at SR 16 Port Orchard Boulevard is currently three lanes Port Orchard Blvd. wide with narrow shoulders, as a continuation of Bay Street the Tremont Widening Project it will need to be Tremont Street widened to include sidewalks, traffic calming and traffic control at the intersection with Bay Street. 2.10 Old Clifton Road Widening Old Clifton Road is currently a two lane road Old Clifton Road without sidewalks, this project would widen the SR 16 Overpass road to four lanes and add street lighting, West City Limits sidewalks, and storm drainage. 2.11 Pottery Avenue Widening Tremont to SR16 Pottery is currently a two-lane road, it needs to be Pottery Avenue widened to a four-lane road, with sidewalks, Tremont Street traffic calming and upgrades to the stormwater SR 16 Overpass system. 2.12 Sidney Avenue (South of SR 16} Widening Sidney Avenue is currently two lanes wide, it needs to be widened to four lanes including the addition of sidewalks, traffic calming, and stormwater system improvements. 2.13 Bay Street and Rockwell Avenue Intersection Sidney Avenue SR 16 Overpass Sedgwick Road Improvements are needed at the intersection for Bay Street driver safety and visibility.
