ORDINANCE NO.001-13
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, REPEALING CHAPTER 10- 76 PARKING
VIOLATORS OF THE PORT ORCHARD MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, over the years,. the City has adopted regulations regarding parking
enforcement within Chapters 10.12 and 10- 72 of the Port Orchard Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, these provisions have rendered the provisions of Chapter 10.76
POMC redundant and sometimes conflicting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the City to
clarify the Code by repealing Chapter 10.76 Parking Violators POMC in its entirety; now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY, OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION i. Chapter 10.76 Parking Violators of the Port Orchard Municipal
Code is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance should
be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity of constitutionality of any
other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after
posting and publication as required by law. A summary of this Ordinance may be
published in lieu of the entire ordinance, as authorized by State Law.
