A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CONFIRMING MAYORAL APPOINTMENT TO THE KITSAP COUNTY
SERVICES GRANT RECOMMEN DATION COMMIfiEE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized to appoint volunteers to fill expired or vacant terms
on the various boards, committees, and commissions, upon confirmation of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the City was informed by Kitsap County that Alisha Beeler who serves on the
Kitsap County Services Grant Recommendation Committee, had moved out of the area and
they asked if the City could fill this position; and
WHEREAS, the following committee has an opening for an unexpired term; now
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIT OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm
the appointment of Sherie Ellington for an unexpired term expiring
December 3I, 2O2I, to the Kitsap County Services Grant
Recommendation Committee.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 27th day of July 2027.
