ORDINANCE NO.001-06
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2005 AS ADOPTED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 1958 TO RECOGNIZE CHANGES TO CERTAIN REVENUES
AND EXPENDITURES NOT ANTICIPATED AT THE TIME OF PASSAGE OF
THE 2005 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard adopted its 2005 Budget in Ordinance No. 1958; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to keep current on budget amendments; and
WHEREAS, in order to satisfy a judgment entered against the City in litigation arising from
assessments levied under Utility Local Improvement District No. 1 it is necessary to make adjustments to
accounts and/or funds by means of appropriation adjustments that could not have been anticipated at the
time of passage of the 2005 Budget, as provided for in RCW 35.33.091; and
WHEREAS, the source of revenue for the additional appropriation will come from the
Water -Sewer Revenue Bonds, 1984 Fund; now, therefore,

Section 1. That the 2005 Budget be amended to reflect the following appropriations to
pay for a judgment from the Water -Sewer Revenue Bonds, 1984 Fund:
Judgment $101,417.00
Interest $2,134.00
Section 2. That the following appropriation of revenue out of the Water -Sewer
Revenue Bonds, 1984 Fund is hereby ordered: $103,551.00
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after posting
and publication as required by law. A summary of this ordinance may be published in lieu of the entire
ordinance, as authorized by State law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard and signed by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 9th day of`' January 2006.
