004-06 - Ordinance - Replealing POMC 2.04.240 Regarding Council CommitteesNOTICE OF CITY OF PORT ORCHARD ORDINANCE The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their regular Council meeting held February 27, 2006, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, REPEALING PORT ORCHARD MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.04.240 REGARDING COUNCIL COMMITTEES Copies of Ordinance No. 004-06 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Etgen Clerk Clerk Publish: Port Orchard Independent March 4, 2006 Kitsa lleegals@soundpublishing.c m IQ.111340L1►us] : a 0 [SX11111 MITI AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, REPEALING PORT ORCHARD MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.04.240 REGARDING COUNCIL COMMITTEES WHEREAS, the City Council has established Council Committees through Ordinance No. 1934 as codified at Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 2.04.240; and WHEREAS, it the intent of the City Council to address future updates and amendments to the Council Committee process through the adoption of Resolutions; now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 2.04.240 is hereby repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after posting and publication as required by law. A summary of this Ordinance may be published in lieu of the entire Ordinance, as authorized by State law.
