The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their regular
Council meeting held December 12, 2005.

WASHINGTON ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR
2006
Copies of Ordinance No. 025-05 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port
Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any
interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 025-05 will be
provided at a nominal charge.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2006
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on revenue sources on October 24,
2005; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary budget for the calendar year 2006 was submitted to the City
Council on October 28, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on December 5, 2005 regarding the
preliminary budget for calendar year 2006; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the budget was on file with the City Clerk for examination by the
public during the time it was considered by the City Council; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I.. That the preliminary budget of the City of Port Orchard for the year 2006, a
copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, is hereby adopted in its entirety as the final annual budget of the
City of Port Orchard for calendar year 2006.
Section 2, That the total budget of the City of Port Orchard for the year 2006 shall be as
recapitulated below:
