1916 - Ordinance - Amending Ordinance 1748 Zoning OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1916 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING PORT ORCHARD ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1748 TO PERMIT OFFICE/PATIENT CLINICS AS AN ALLOWED USE IN THE R-20 ZONE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD. WHEREAS, the City Zoning Ordinance currently does not allow office/patient clinics as defined in SIC 801-04, such as doctors' or dentists' offices, within the R-20 zone (20 dwelling units per net usable acre); and WHEREAS, SIC 801-04 uses are compatible with high density residential uses and will make such services more convenient to residents of the R-20 zone, and WHEREAS, allowing office/patient clinics in the R-20 zone is consistent with the comprehensive plan, now, therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1748, Part B3 General Services Land Uses Table is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after posting and publication as required by law. A summary of this Ordinance may be published in lieu of the entire Ordinance, as authorized by State law.
