(Amendment to Section 1, Ordinance No. 1271) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. 3.08.010 Section 3.08.010 is hereby amended to read as follows: General Provisions. There is established a revolving fund for the city for the sole purpose of making advance payment of travel expenses incurred by officers and employees of the city. The revolving fund shall be known as “Advance Travel Expense Revolving Fund and will be maintained at Kitsap Bank as a checking account, and advances to the city officials for employees will be by check. The city clerk is designated custodian of the fund. The revolving fund is to be replenished by warrant. The maximum amount to be retained in the fund at any one time is fixed at one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and the maximum amount that may be used to pay for travel expenses incurred by any one officer or employee of the city is five hundred dollars ($500.00).
