Council meeting held February 26, 2001.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD. (For municipal
purposes — McCormick Well Field property).
Copies of Ordinance No. 1816 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port
Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any
interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1816 will be
provided at a nominal charge.

LEGAL, DESCRIPTION: A portion of the SE114 quarter of the SW114 of
Section 4 and a portion of the NE114 of NW114 of Section 9, Township 23
North, Range 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap County, Washington,

property consisting of one tax parcel 092301-2-002-2003 totaling 1.71 acres.

SECTION 1. THAT the following described territory owned by the City of Port Orchard
and non-contiguous to the City of Port Orchard be and the same hereby is annexed to the City of Port
Orchard and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance shall become subject to all the Laws and
Ordinances thereof.

That portion of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 4 and of the northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 23 North, Range 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap
County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said northwest quarter of said section 9; thence north
89°10'02" west along the north line of said subdivision a distance of 225.94 feet; thence south
0049'58" west a distance of 23.86 feet to the true point of beginning of the herein described tract
and a point on the arc of a curve the center of which bears south; thence easterly, southerly, and
westerly along the arc of a curve to the right said curve having a radius of 100.00 feet through a
central angle of 180°00'00" a distance of 314.16 feet; thence west a distance of 75.30 feet to a
point of curve; thence westerly and northerly along the arc of a curve to the right, said curve
having a radius of 100.00 feet through a central angle of 132*30'11" a distance of 231.26 feet to a
