Minutes of the following Council meeting: (1) July 20, 1994 Comprehensive Plan Meeting (2) July 25, 1994 City Council meeting with following corrections: (1) Page 5, paragraph 6. line 2, change "City Engineer" to "Public Property Committee to proceed with negotiations....." (2) Page 4, paragraph 9, add: ...bid opening on Pottery/Sidney Sewer Main Project... (3) August 1, 1994 City Council Study Session b. Approval of Claim Warrants. c. Ordinances to be placed on 8/22/94 Council agenda: (1) Ordinance repealing Ord. 1606 and replacing certain sections of Municipal Code Title Nine relating to the public, peace, safety and morals for the City of Port Orchard, repealing and replacing certain sections of Municipal Code Title Ten relating to vehicles and traffic and repealing and replacing certain sections of Municipal Code Title One relating to general provisions for the City. (2) Ordinance of the City of Port Orchard, Washington adopting the Washington Model Traffic Ordinance (MTO) as contained in the Washington Administrative Code, Chapter 308-330 WAC, to regulate traffic in the City of Port Orchard and repealing Ordinance No. 1605. Councilman Childress sponsor. 4. NEW BUSINESS: a. 7:35 PM Public Hearing re: Proposed Comprehensive Parks Plan 5. OLD BUSINESS: a. PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUED TO 9/26/94 7:35 PM: Application for a Zone Reclassification from Residential Low to Residential High and a Preliminary Plat to allow subdivision of 9 acres into 35 lots for single family residences as submitted by Jerry Clark for Heron Ridge. Site location: 200 block of Melcher Avenue West. b. Proposed Ordinance No. 1607 amending Animal Control Ordinance to include provision requiring owners to clean up after animals; new section - confinement in vehicle (endangering) and revision of public nuisances and violations sections. Councilman Geiger sponsor. c. Proposed expansion of the DeKalb Pier and Sinclair Inlet Marina. (Public Property Committee 6/27/94) d. Conversion of Fire Station No. 1 telephone system to a system which would also accommodate telephones required for the City's Emergency Operation Center (EOC).
