A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO SIGN THE
DISCHARGE MONITORING REPORT.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard and Karcher Creek Sewer District jointly
own and operate the Wastewater Treatment Facility; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology requires the Wastewater Treatment
Facility to submit a Discharge Monitor Report monthly, which lists the fiow volumes,
characteristics, and volumes, and is signed by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System (NPDES) permit holder; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is the lead agency (permit holder) listed on
the NPDES permit for the Wastewater Treatment Facility; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THAT:
The City Engineer is designated to be the City Official who shall
sign the Discharge Monitoring Report.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor,
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 11th day of February 2002.
