A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF THE PUBLIC WORKS TRUST FUND
CONTRACT FOR A $10 MILLION DOLLAR LOAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard and Karcher Creek Sewer District jointly own and
operate the Joint Wastewater Treatment Facility, which serves the community;
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is the lead agency in the expansion project of the
Joint Wastewater Treatment Facility; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Public Works Trust Fund has selected the City of Port
Orchard and the expansion project for a $10,000,000 loan for the design and construction of the project,
now therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT:
The Mayor of the City of Port Orchard is authorized to accept the Public
Works Trust Fund loan and to sign the contract and other Public Works
Trust Fund documents needed to secure the loan.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 25th day of February 2002 .
