RESOLUTION NO. 1976
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD. WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE LEASING OF A PORTION OF HARRISION
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Harrison Avenue is a public right-of-way owned by the City of Port Orchard;
WHEREAS, Peninsula Feed Company is a business and property owner of the property
abutting the portion of Harrison Avenue right-of-way, which is proposed to be leased to Peninsula Feed
Company; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did publish the notice required by RCW 35.23.452 in the Port
Orchard Independent on April 24, 2002, May 1, 2002, and May 8, 2002; now therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES RESOLVE THAT:
SECTION 1. The 25' x 200' portion of Harrison Avenue right-of-way proposed to be
leased to Peninsula Feed Company is not necessary for city purposes.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the attached Lease Agreement with
Peninsula Feed Company.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13" day of May 2002.
