A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 2000 MANUAL ON
UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES.
WHEREAS, the 2000 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices has
superceded the 1988 edition; and
WHEREAS, the Manual sets forth the basic principles that govern design and
usage of traffic control devices and presents standards for all streets and highways open to
public travel; now therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Port Orchard adopts the 2000 Manual on
Uniform Traffic Control Devices for use by the Public
Works Department.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the
Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 1Oth day of June 2002.
