A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
ESTABLISHING A BUSINESS LICENSE FEE AND A BUSINESS
LICENSE RENEWAL FEE.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has established regulations requiring all businesses
and/or persons doing business within the Port Orchard city limits to obtain a city business license, and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has adopted Ordinance No. 1863 establishing fees
for the issuance and/or renewal of city business licenses, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. Business License Fee: Effective for new business licenses issued for
the July 2002-June 2003 period and each year thereafter as set forth
under Port Orchard Municipal Code 5.12.080(1 ), the license fee shall be
thirty dollars ($30.00) per year and such fee shall be paid prior to
issuance of the license. The license shall not be pro-rated
2. Business License Renewal Fee: Effective for all business license
renewals issued for the July 2002-June 2003 period and each year
thereafter as set forth under Port Orchard Municipal Code 5.12.090, the
annual business license renewal fee shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) per
year and such fee shall be paid prior to issuance of the license.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
