A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING REASSIGNMENT OF A REAL
ESTATE LEASE WITH CASECO ASSOCIATES.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard entered into a real estate lease with Case Excavation
on February 15, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Caseco Associates has purchased Case Excavation; and
WHEREAS the Caseco Associates activities, business interests, and impacts to the leased
site will be the same as those associated with Case Excavation, now, therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT:
1 . The City of Port Orchard consents to assigning the terms and obligations of
the Lease Agreement from Case Excavation to Caseco Associates, Inc.
2. Pursuant to Section 21 of the real estate lease between the City of Port
Orchard and Case Excavation, the Mayor is authorized to approve the lease
reassignment to Caseco Associates, Inc.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of October 2002.
