1961 - Resolution - Agreement with WSDOT for Bay Street Pedestrian PathRESOLUTION N0.1961
WHEREAS, the Bay Street Pedestrian Path Road Improvement Project is listed on the
City of Port Orchard Six-Year Road Plan and the Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation
Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard shall seek federal and state funding for the
design and construction of the Bay Street Pedestrian Path; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard accepts and complies with the applicable
provisions of federal and state funding, as described in the Washington State Department of
Transportation Local Agency Agreement; now, therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
THAT: The Mayor is authorized to submit the Local Agency Agreement and
Prospectus to the Washington State Department of Transportation and sign
the applicable documents.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor, and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of January 2002.
