RESOLUTION NO. 1957
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD. WASHINGTON,
PPROVING A REVENUE SHARING AGREEMENT WITH KITSAP
C UNTY.
AS; the City of Port Orchard has actively participated in the formation of a revenue
sharing program with Kits County; and
WHEREAS, t proposed agreement is referred to as the "lnterlocal Agreement Between
Kitsap County and the City of Sa ridge Island, City of Bremerton, City of Port Orchard and City of Poulsbo
Concerning Revenue Sharing Upon nnexation and In Conjunction With Major Land Use Decisions Within a
City's Urban Growth Areas"; and
WHEREAS, this interloc agreement does not specify certain implementing details and
lacks certain clarifications; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
WASHINGTON:
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City Port Orchard is authorized to sign the attached
interlocal agreement.
SECTION 2. The attached interlocal agree nt shall not be implemented until the City
Council approves the formal agreement which specifies the imple ntation details for this agreement.
SECTION 3. The outstanding issues, at this time in de:

What is the definition of Kitsap County's significant invest
• What type of Kitsap County costs will be reimbursed?
• What impact does this agreement have on Kitsap County's pro ct selection process?
• Will Kitsap County support annexations, or merely not oppose the ?
