A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS.
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grants are available within Kitsap County to
meet the needs of the citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is seeking a means to improve the accessibility to the
Givens Park Restroom with a recommendation for approval, now, therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
THAT: The Mayor of the City of Port Orchard shall apply for Community Development
Block Grants to assist the City of Port Orchard in the following project:
Construct a new restroom at Givens Park, which will be in accordance with
the requirements of the American With Disabilities Act.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
