1863 - Resolution - Development Permit for Water Street Boat LaunchRESOLUTION NO. 1863 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON PROVIDING A SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR THE PORT OF BREMERTON TO ENHANCE THE WATER STREET BOAT LAUNCH WHEREA, the City adopted the revised Shoreline Master Program in 1994 to regulate the property within the jurisdiction of that Program; and WHEREAS, the applicant submitted a substantial development permit application on 16 April 1999 for shorelines review to enhance the Water Street Boat Launch; and WHEREAS, this project has received a Determination of Non -Significance by the Port of Bremerton who is the Lead Agency for the project; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on 14 June 1999 by the City Council to hear facts and testimony concerning granting a substantial development permit with regard to the Shoreline Management Program; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the granting of a substantial development permit is consistent with the intent of the Shoreline Management Program, now therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: The City of Port Orchard grants the substantial development permit to the Port of Bremerton to allow the enhancement of the Water Street Boat Launch with the following conditions: 1. Prior to commencement of work, a building permit for this project shall have been issued from the City of Port Orchard. 2. All work shall comply with Department of Fish and Wildlife requirements, if a Hydraulic Project Approval is required. 3. No work shall be accomplished within the water side of the Ordinary High Water Mark 4. The project shall include the restroom, water -edge park improvements, and walkway, as shown on the approved site plan. 5. The project shall have stormwater controls which comply with the Department of Ecology standards.
