A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON ESTABLISHING THE EMPLOYMENT
POSITION OF AUDIO-VISUAL ASSISTANT AND PROVIDING
FOR THE SALARY OF THIS POSITION
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
THAT:
SECTION 1. Effective retroactive to June 14, 1999 the employment
position of Audio -Visual Assistant is hereby established.
(1) This position shall be classified as a Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) Not -
exempt position - part-time, on -call, less than 20 hours per week.
(2) Compensation for this position shall be established at the rate of $25.00 per
meeting for the duration of the 1999 budget year. Thereafter, the salary shall be
as set forth in the City's Annual Salary Ordinance.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is authorized to establish a job description
identifying the essential and basic job functions along with minimum skills and abilities required for
this position.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this th day of July 1999.
