1765 - Resolution - Repealing Resolution No. 1756 City Business LicensesRESOLUTION NO. 1765t/ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1755 AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PENALTIES AND APPEALS FOR CITY BUSINESS LICENSES. WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish fees for penalties and appeals for city business licenses; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 1755 is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Business license fees A. Application fee NONE B. Annual license fee NONE C. Renewal fee NONE SECTION 3. Penalties for delinquent business licenses are as follows:• A. Renewal - A penalty of ten dollars ($10.00) per month, which shall not be prorated shall be assessed on any delinquent license renewal which has not been made on or before August 1st of any year. B. Civil penalty - The penalty for operation of a business without a license shall be assessed an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00). SECTION 3. Appeal fees for business licenses are as follows: A. An appeal fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00) must accompany the request for an appeal to the City Council. B. This will include appeals for license denial, revocation, suspension or violation.
