A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF FARRAGUT
AVENUE RIGHT OF WAY, (Platted as Prospect
Court).
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
THAT a Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of
Farragut Avenue Right of Way, (Platted as Prospect Court) further
described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, July 8, 1996 at 7:35
P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port
Orchard, Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: ATTACHMENT "A"
The aforesaid property is approximately forty feet (40')
wide and approximately one hundred feet (100') long containing
approximately 4,679.19 square feet.
The Petitioner is the owner of an interest in real estate
abutting on the above described area.
The Petitioner constitutes more than two-thirds of the
owners of said portions of abutting property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that proceedings be had hereon
for the Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the manner
prescribed by RCW 35.79.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
SIGNED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in au entication of such
passage this 10th day of June, 1996.
