A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY ATTORNEY AS IT RELATES TO A COMMUNITY FACILITY
LOAN.
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard has applied for a Community
Facility Loan from the Department of Agriculture to finance the City Hall
construction; and
WHEREAS, the Rural Economic and Community Development Agency of the
Department of Agriculture requires assurance that a competent attorney will
assist in any project funded by their agency; and
WHEREAS, The City Attorney's contract already incorporates the
requirements specified by the Department of Agriculture;
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THE FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor is authorized to sign the agreement with the City
Attorney to satisfy the requirement of the Community Facility
Loan.
2. No terms of this agreement shall be construed to supersede or
modify the terms of the contract between the City of Port
Orchard and the City Attorney.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by
the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of�jsuch passage this 8th
