1690 - Resolution - Capital Facilities PlanRESOLUTION NO. 1690 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON ADOPTING THE CAPITAL FACILITIES PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard, in compliance with the Growth Management Act, is striving to maintain its infrastructure to adequately support its future population; and WHEREAS, the City has prepared a Capital Facilities Plan which evaluates the existing municipal facilities and has established levels of service to judge future adequacy; and WHEREAS, the Capital Facilities Plan has received a Declaration of Non -Significance through the SEPA process; and WHEREAS, the City Council on December 12, 1994 held a public hearing on the Capital Facilities Plan to review the document and to hear public comment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING: The Capital Facilities Plan is adopted as an official plan to help guide the City's management of municipal structures. The Capital Facilities Plan will be used as a planning tool for major projects and will be reviewed annually by the Public Works Department. Minor projects not specifically included in the Plan will continue to be eligible for City funding. The City Treasurer is authorized to use revenue from the real estate excise tax to fund City Council approved projects which are recommended by the Capital Facilities Plan. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 27th day of December, 1994. LESLIE J.
