1601 - Resolution - Public Hearing on Petition to Vacate ROWRESOLUTION NO. 1601 ✓ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF MORTON STREET BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows: THAT a Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of Morton Street further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, June 22, 1992 at 7:45 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Situated in Section 26, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, Kitsap County. The full sixty foot width of Morton Street which abuts Lots 17 and 18, Block 14 of Sidney 1st Addition and Lots 1 and 2, Block 10 Sidney 1st Addition. The aforesaid property is approximately one hundred twenty feet (120') wide and approximately sixty feet (60') long containing approximately 7,200 square feet. The Petitioners are the owners of an interest in real estate abutting on the above described area. The Petitioners constitute more than two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting property. WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that proceedings be had hereon for the Vacation of said area of said right -of --way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 11th day of May, 1992. LESLIE J.
