A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE
CITY COUNCIL AS THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS
AND APPEALS FOR THE SEPA PROCESS.
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard is the lead agency
for the SEPA process, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1288; and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer is responsible for make the
threshold determination based upon the submitted environmental
checklist; and
WHEREAS, The City Ordinance No. 1288 allows for
appeals to the"Board of Adjustments and Appeals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PORT ORCHARD
CITY COUNCIL THAT:
The Board of Adjustments and Appeals shall
be comprised of the members of the Port
Orchard City Council.
The proceedings of the public hearing on the
appeal shall be at a time and place
designated by the City Council.
Those parties which submit an appeal will be
notified by certified mail of the time and
place of the appeal hearing.
The decision of the Board of Adjustments and
Appeals shall be final unless appealed to
the Kitsap County Superior Court within
thirty days of the decision.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard, APPROVED by the mayor and attested by the Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 13th day of July, 1992.
