1572 - Resolution - Special Use PermitRESOLUTION NO. 1572 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ELIZABETH JACKSON FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 614 DWIGHT STREET FOR A SPECIFIC USE OF A PARCEL OF PROPERTY WHICH IS IN HARMONY WITH THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS OR OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND IS NOT DETRIMENTAL TO EXISTING USES PERMITTED IN THAT PARTICULAR ZONE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: THAT: Whereas the City Planning Commission has held the required public hearings in accordance with the criteria set forth in Chapter 6 (Special Use Permits) of Ordinance No. 1469, Zoning Ordinance of the City of Port Orchard, and; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval of the application by Elizabeth Jackson, located at 614 Dwight Street, and has recorded with the City Clerk their decision setting forth their findings and recommendations. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard does adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 167-91, with Findings, Facts and Conclusions as their own and hereby approves the issuance of a Special Use Permit to allow professional offices at 614 Dwight Street with the following conditions: (1) One additional parking space shall be provided to the existing parking area. The parking area shall measure a minimum of 38 feet by 20 feet, in addition to the existing garage, (2) Advertisement by pole and monument signs are prohibited, (3) Exterior expansion of the structure is prohibited unless approved by the City Council in accordance with the conditions imposed by Ordinance No. 1469, Chapter 6. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 26, Township 24, Range IE; Block 5, Lot 5 of the Sidney S.M. Steven's Subdivision. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 22nd day of April, 1991. LESLIE J.
